I have a lead on a parts set consisting of the following

Set 1) Is a Beretta Receiver
Set 2) Is a Beretta/berda parts set but on a Lithgow receiver

At this time I do not know the condition and have not seen pics of the items. Worst case scenario what would Set 1 be worth and then Set 2. I know it is hard to price something without seeing it; I am just unfamiliar with the price of Beretta parts.

Thanks for the help.

Set 1 maybe $700 or so.

Set 2, whatever a parts kit is worth. I don't give a lithgow more value then $20.

Damn didn't think a beretta receiver was worth that much. Now for the guy to get back to me on condition.

I'm not saying for just a receiver, I was under the impression it was a receiver with a parts kit, a full kit.

Sorry about the confusion, I am also a little confused on what the guy has he did not have the best description. The way I understand it is that he has a Beretta Receiver and then a parts gun built on a Lithgow receiver. So a total of two receivers. One bare, the other built into a rifle. Will find out more if he gets back to me on condition and price.

depends on which Beretta receiver it is - depends A LOT. a Danish PB receiver isn't a bid deal. I had many. Paid, maybe, $200 for them

Sean, you may be right but I'd be inclined to think more could be gotten for a PB right now.

maybe. I dunno. Last time I bought any receivers was that handful of BMRs. Pretty sure they were $200 each

I would guess maybee $450 for the Beretta receiver and about $400 for the Complete rifle .

Guy never got back to me so never bought it. At least I'll know for the future.

You mean back in the days when 8mm was $.06/round? Or when rack grades were $295?

I ended up picking up that set-assuming you meant on the CMP forums. Paid a bit because the Beretta recvrs (for me at least) are getting hard as hell to find. Last one I bought was $625 (plain-I know expensive but when was the last time you saw one for sale). The lot came with the PB Recvr, Danish sling, Danish bayonet, bmb complete trigger group, PB gas cylinder, pb front sight, PB front handgaurd ferrule, USGI gas plug, gas lock, USGI follower arm, USGI op rod catch, USGI bullet guide, BMB follower/slide, Lithgow recvr attached to a really very nice BMR 1955 barrel. Rear sight assembly-BMR sight base, BMR/BMB marked rear sight apeture (hard to read cant tell) BME elevation pinion, windeage USGI (if i remember right), USGI rear sight cover. I paid $780 for all that but managed to sell off the items i wasnt going to be using for $400 and still have some items left. So to me it was a no brainer for $380 for a Beretta recvr, PB bolt,PB gas cylinder, PB front sight, Danish bayonet, and Danish sling. 972973974975
