We have been working hard to find a suitable credit card vendor that would not charge high rates.

We will be contracting with a firm that has partnered with the National Rife Association, and is used by many in the firearm industry. Based on the projected cost to the club we will not be raising the cost of membership for those who absolutely must use a credit card to join. The club still prefers a new members to submit payment via check or money order, but will offer this enhancement in service to all wishing to join.

During this process we need to make numerous changes to our website, forms and other data to make the transition smooth and seamless. Additionally, we will be working with the Civilian Marksmanship Program about different membership formats that will be in use by the club.

If all goes as planned we will be making the big announcement in the upcoming weeks.

New applications are presently in the CMP North Store and are being mailed to the South Store.

Is there still a chance for a M1CC "work party"? Perhaps we could help unclog the pipeline a bit.

Well we have started processing credit cards via our secure encrypted internet terminal. So far so good!

New applications have been dropped off at both the North and South CMP stores and we have we are getting a positive response to our new feature.

We are currently working with the credit card vendor to establish a virtual payment option via the internet. This feature (shopping cart) will allow you to renew your membership or become a new member within minutes. Several other enhancements are underway that should assist speeding up the membership process.

Gunner,

Is the CC payment option still an option? It appears my club membership expired and I need to renew.
