Who would have thought Merle would let Michone go then try to kill the Gov to make peace with the group? Daryl alluded to it when he was talking with Glen but I didn't think Michone could get to him.

I am looking forward to next Sunday...

That was a bad ass episode.
Using the baited zombies as a way to get the Gov's troop shooting to cover his own shots was a slick move.
Too bad it didn't work out as planned.
And the Fight with the Governor was well played. Leaving Merle to turn was his way of paying him back for betraying him.

I don't know how many Merle took with him but it may have been a bad play overall. If he took 5 of the governors soldiers out, I would consider it a good move.

It was a great plan that failed. I have to believe that Merle's intention was to assassinate The Governor. With the gov gone his soldiers would either join up with Ricks group or find their own way. When Merle stated taking people out I couldn't help but think it to be a waste of human resources. It may have been one of those "Danger Close" situations and he felt he had to though. Anyway, with Ben getting wasted by someone from the prison group, the prison group has a new enemy.

Tim I believe that the scenes from next week the Govener said he killed 8. so a good plan it was!!!!!


I don't know how many Merle took with him but it may have been a bad play overall. If he took 5 of the governors soldiers out, I would consider it a good move.

He did say that, but you can bet that he isn't going to tell them that Merle tried to kill him. He's including Merle in that 8. Also, I bet he includes Andrea. That way he can keep her in the torture room as long as he wants and do whatever he wants to her without anyone asking questions.
