GAWs lost in shipping

My Dupage GAWs were shipped today,tracking said dropped off at house at 8 44 and Mom and the boys were here and no package. I called fed ex and they say it was dropped at my address . This sucks, all the shipping and stuff I do this is the first lost package. I hope its jsut a mistake and still on the truck. What do you guys think , do packages ever show up. They have no info until they investigate. Its was sent ground with no sig needed. Thanks

Checkmate19, I know it's frustrating but it will most likely be found. If the package was insured, they seem to find it. In the years I've been in business, not one lost package through the post office shipping back or any other carrier coming to me. There have been close calls, like yours, but they've all been found. One little note, although the other carriers do a far better job tracking, the post office seems to be the big dog as far as actually paying on a claim. A few customers have sent stuff to me that got broken in route, their carrier would not pay. Never, to my knowledge, has the USPS not paid if an appeal was filed.

I have had the same issues. One time the idiot driver dropped it off to one of the neighbors and I had to track it down. That really does suck a big one! Maybe check with your neighbors???

I once had a package shipped from Texas to me in Washington State. Somehow it got delivered to an address in Montana... WTH?!?!?
Eventually it was located and it was delivered to me a couple of weeks later.

Well the investigation showed they were delivered to the wrong address. They were only a block away and still on the porch so i picked them up. I am pretty happy , they are not to beat up .

The bottom stock has the cross cannons in front of the box . The rest of my GAWs have them behind the box.

Thanks Gunner, I would say my handymans were as nice. Its been a real job finding homes for these stocks. I purchased several of the bad correct brs from the cmp and only kept the better ones. I did keep a 1.5 mil that looked real bad because I was going to have it re done. Well after putting it togeather with a beat up stock I love it. I spent years finding good matching wood and such for my rifles and now have 6 of the GAWs to find homes. I put one of the GAWs on a WRA that Magna picked out for me with a WWII SA barrel and all WWII parts. I will do a group pic when i get them togeather. To,m

I have a complete parts kit that is all correct for a 1/45 barrel,and that is where My GAW is....just waiting for a 3.4-5 mil Receiver to complete it.
