I have a USP40 full-size. It was my first handgun and I love it. I want another one, I am waiting till they team up with Crimson Trace to get one with a laser.

I want a G3/HK91 clone badly. Collapsable stock, and have Gunplumber chop the barrel. Like these:

The only H&K I have is a USC converted to use M3 Grease Gun magazines. The weird paddle on the grip is required of those of us behind enemy lines in CA if we want to be able to remove our magazines without a tool. It is so accurate and comfortable to shoot that it's almost boring. :D

I used to own an HK 91 A3, a CETME and an HK 93. I don't miss the 91 or CETME a bit. Selling the 93 is one of those things I'll wish I hadn't done for the rest of my days.
And the A3 collapsible stock on the 91 is probably the worst design ever. Mine beat me to death and was not at all enjoyable to shoot. My 16" barreled, folding stocked FAL is tame compared to the beating that the 91 handed out.

I think that stock is known as "the meat tenderizer"!
Interesting your thoughts on the 93. I thought it was one heavy mother for it to be chambered for 223.
With a decent buffer your 91 will hit you no harder then the 93 IMO.

Yes, the 93 was heavy. But nothing compared to my Galil (real one) that I owned at the same time.
Adding the scope and bipod added even more weight to the 93, but it had almost no felt recoil compared to my AR-15's or Berretta AR-70. BTW, I had the 1986 version of that same scope on my 93!!
I was deep, deep into black rifles and AK's back in the 80-90's right up until the '94 AWB.
I sold all of those back in the mid 90's to fund a divorce and some FAL builds. All thats left from those days is a couple of AR's and a few FAL's.

I got one better. I also owned a Model 70! It was the only 223 rifle I ever owned. Have to admit after firing my friends 223 this weekend I can see the attraction of these AR-15s. They make a fun plinker.

The Beretta AR-70 was hands down the most 'comfortable' 5.56 weapon I have ever owned. Excellent ergonomics and it shouldered vey easily. The lack of available spare mags really soured it for me. It came with one factory mag in the box, and I tried for over a year to get additional mags. Not being able to have more than one mag pretty much made it useless as far as I was concerned.
I had the very same issue with my Galil ARM. It came with one 35 round mag and I managed to obtain a 50 rounder from the dealer. That was it. It was big, heavy and pretty much worthless for holding off the hoards of invading Russians that we were expecting in the early 80's.. ;)

I think I had a 5 and a 30 for my model 70. I'm trying to remember more about it. Something about the sights I didn't care for I think.

I recently sold an HK94 and an SP89........tough times demand drastic actions.
I still have a very nice HK91 and a Tactical HK45.

I"ve got a pair of HK4 pistols...sort of a Walther PPK with conversion kits for .380, .32 ACP, .25 ACP, and .22LR.
I used to have a P7...wish I'd never sold it, it was a beautiful gun.
I never got into the USP series...they just seemed like expensive Glocks.

Last summer, my brother stopped by my house on his way through to his vacation destination. We had talked about a Trade of his choice between 6 or 7 Pistols of mine in trade for his HK P7M8 Squeeze cocker. He finally chose my Sig Sauer P 226 in 9MM in trade for his HK. after we made the trade, he told me that the HK was the Pistol he carried when he was a SWAT member for L.A. Sheriff's Dept.
WOW what an incredibly accurate Pistol that HK is...I think we made a good trade.
