View Full Version : Garand sight adjustment for 600 yards shooting question
I am planning on shooting my garand at 600 yds. Right now I can only practice at 100 yds or 200 yds. I have the elevation knob marks lined up for shooting at 100 yards. If I turn the elevation knob up to 600 yds, how many inches above my point-of-aim should I hit the target ?

From 100/200 come up 12 and start from there. It should at least get you on the paper.
The general rule of thumb is from 200 to 300 come up 2 MOA, From 300 to 600 come up 10 MOA. So if you are shooting POA/POI @ 200 come up 12 for 600.

Sounds good. Thanks
