Which WATCO wood finishing products do you use?

Before I found out I was wrong, re-finished quite a few rifles with the regular Watco Danish Oil and they came out great. Fiebings will also work through a coat or two if you want to get that red hue. Stu

I have used the Medium Walnut although I would like to see what the dark looks like

I put on the first coat with a 400 grit wet dry sandpaper rubbing in the oil. I think the sandpaper makes a slurry and fills in the grain some. After drying that the next coat goes on with a rag, let soak in then hand rub.

Who told you were wrong ? In what way were you wrong ?

I use Danish Oil black walnut.
