With the shorter sight radius on a Mini-G, I'm wondering how helpful it would be to install a different front sight, and if so, which. (I've heard of people using rear sights with smaller apertures, but I'm not planning on that.)

I've seen the sights by Kensight, and I'm aware of the thinner National Match front sights. Heck, maybe I can just grind the milspec front sight a little thinner? Or maybe none of this is even worthwhile considering the expected level of precision from a Mini-G. I expect most of my targets to be under 200 yards (probably 100 even), with 400 yards my extreme range.

I welcome your thoughts.

I consider my Mini G to be a 150 yard gun.Not that I wouldn't try 200,but never 400yards.
I put a S&K side scope mount on it.I can use the scope or iron sights.

You can grind your sights down or even get a BM59 front sight.
