The weather overall has not been good this summer. It has been rough for the most part, but the diving has been pretty good. Video quality from photobucket leaves a LOT to be desired... the original GoPro file is much better.

is that a f-ing shark right there in the second video??? listen bro, the vids are badazz and I am hugely jealous of your recreational life, but there is no way in HELL that I am going to be in the water that close to a shark. And before you even try, I don't want to hear how it's a this and that shark that is completely harmless. It's a SHARK!

there are only 4 creatures on earth that scare me: spiders, big cats (lion big, not big house cats), crocodilians, and sharks.

That is a shark. I've been diving/spearfishing around them a long time. There are places & times I won't shoot fish. I have some other videos that would really freak you out. You just have to be the biggest, baddest mofo in the ocean when a shark decides to take an interest.

Hell, that shark was swimming away from me. Those aren't the ones you have to worry about!!!

I have only given up 1 fish EVER. I didn't have a choice on that one. There were 3 sandbar sharks that were on me almost as fast as I pulled the trigger. I missed the signs that they had been feeding on the wreck. Thinking back on the dive I can see every sign that should have told me NOT to shoot a fish! Hindsight is 20/20!!!

They were less than 100yds away!

Sean, check out a youtube video called "Mickey's Hole". I recorded it a few years ago on one of our shallow wrecks. The video quailty is poor because it was not shot in HD. It isn't a long video but the best part starts at the 3:00 mark...
