Havent been able to get to the range for several months, life has just gotten in the way
Man am I out of practice!! I was about embarrassed to let anyone see my targets when we walked down to check them. I'm used to going once or twice a week and you really get rusty after all this time off.
Was nice to get out , I wanted to fire a Garand I just sold for the last time and took a SP1 Carbine that I havent shot yet that I bought months ago.
Get out and burn some powder guys

Thats good to hear Bill, I made it out today also and won 1st place in a bench rest match. I know its not as cool as the shooting you do but its a good time at the range with my Dad.
Is the M1 the one you were selling on cmp , its a beauty and if I had the money I had bought it. I have M1s and not one with the time and knowledge put it to as yours do. I really liked it and bet it shoots awsome.

We live so far and time is scarce also and when I get out with my Dad we only shoot the 22s, I have not shoot centerfire in some time. A good friend is talking about taking his 16 years old out shooting so maybe that will motivate me to find time also.

Heck, I get the most enjoyment out of shooting my Kimber 82. I like my Garands and my match .223 but my Kimber on a bench is the best.
I have made some good friends and the range and learned alot from them and taught a few alittle. Thats what its all about

I enjoy it Bill, we shoot 100 yards iron sights, 6 targets shooting 10 rounds in each. We have from 5 to 14 shooters all great guys, if you put one round out of the 10 ring you have pretty much lost already. Today I shot a 600 43x . Our oldest shooter is 81 and wins often my Dad is 78 and a few others in their 70s.

Made a short trip earlier this week to get out my scoped Kimber .
Shot this 5 rd group at 5o yds, front rest, rear bag. First 4 rds went in the same hole and I choked on the last . Unfortunatly this isnt a normal group, rifle is capable but I'm not
