Gas lock fit question.

Hi Guys,

Just got my Mini-G back from Tim. Looks great. Pictures and range report to follow. I stole a smith enterprises brake off my 308 Garand for use on the mini-g. When I put the gas lock on the fullsize Garand it stops about 3:30. Should I just back her off to 6:00 and tighten the plug down? If I do so I get a bit of front to back front handguard wiggle. Is this a problem?

No. There NEEDS to be a little front to back handguard play. If the front guard is tight, you put the lock on too far

Either slightly, ever so slightly, snug or a turn loose.
