Just like the title implies, the MT marked Garand stocks that have been lengthened? Anyone ever try the ones that were restored back to 30-06 M1 length?
Wonder for a shooter stock.

I've used them,but I did the work myself.They work just as well as unmodified IMHO.

I've seen them at Sarco. They have or had them brand new and cheap.

Do you recall if they were all dark stained, or were they natural wood color?

Both ways. I would think the brown crap could be removed though.

can anyone post a photo of the joints? I am curious as to where they were spliced..Plus are they walnut...

They are spliced on the area of the stock ferrule.
