Last Saturday our county sportsman's association held their annual banquet. Most of the money raised goes to support women and kids shooting, fishing and archery programs. After the dinner they hold all kind of auctions, games and drawings for all kind of items.
My wife accidentally entered a drawing for a rifle. She thought she was buying tickets for stuff on the table that was next to the gun.
Well, when they had the drawing for that particular rifle, she won.
It was a Remington 770 with synthetic stock chambered in 300 Win.
Ginny didn't want a rifle that powerful so the gun store owner said she could use the cash value to buy any other item at the shop.
She now wants to get a conceal carry. Probably something like a S&W Bodyguard 380 or a Ruger LCP.
MY wife always gets lucky and wins that kind of stuff !!!!
I won some things too....... a citronella candle, a potted chrysanthemum, and a Buck knife
