NM Windage Knobs F/S

Have several Garand NM windage knobs for sale they are in very good condition.

NOW READ THIS CAREFULLY:

While these are USGI windage knobs they did not start out as National MATCH knobs. Someone milled off the threads of standard knobs and pressed on finer 64 TPI threads and hand stamped "NM" on the knob. I have tried these in USGI NM sight bases and they work prefectly.
Since these are knobs modified to NM , I am selling them for half of what I get for original NM knobs

Bill, for the life of me I can't see anyone doing that much work to make a windage knob? Are you sure the govt. didn't do these? Interesting though.

I dont know who did them for sure so I cant say they were USGI built. No one seems to know much about them for sure

I asked Gus Fisher about them awhile back and at one time a contractor sent them similar knobs. He said the knobs they had were junk as the pressed on threads would spin. I held several of the threads with vice grips and tried to make them spin and all of these are firmly attached.
These must be from different contractor or improved. I really dont know but they work fine. He really couldnt give me much info on them.
