Not to sure this was a good shooting by cops. It's starting to look like the "hero's" whacked a lost woman with her one year old.

Give it a few more minutes.. she have had a Bushmaster AR-15 with 100 billion round magazine loaded with cop-killer bullets. Also,she'll be wearing a Tea Party t-shirt and will have Glenn Beck on the radio.

Looks like the driver has some mental health issues and it all turned real tragic. Pretty sad really.

First Boston and the surrounding area is turned upside down for almost a week by 2 idiots with a homemade bomb. How many Constitutional violations were made that week? How many people who absolutely had nothing to do with the bombing had their Rights trampled on? How many police officers geared up in para-military gear and armored vehicles, driving through American neighborhoods like it was downtown Kabul? All that for just 2 guys.

Now a mentally ill woman, who apparently didn't get proper treatment, throws Washington, DC, into a state of panic. The whole incident lasted, what?, 15 minutes? Yet more para-military units in armored vehicles were deployed. 7 cops surrounding her car fired their weapons indiscriminately and recklessly toward her vehicle when she tried to flee. One of the first rules of firearms training is to have a clear target. Only in the movies do all of your shots land in the fleeing vehicle. As we saw on the New York City streets a few years ago, when weapons are fired indiscriminately and reactionary to other officers firing, innocent bystanders get hurt. Then, when the vehicle is finally stopped, the passenger door popped open and a 1 year old child sitting in the car, the police gun down the unarmed mental patient.

If 2 guys in Boston and 1 mentally ill female in Washington can cause this kind of chaos, what happens when a full squad of terrorists shows up inside one of our shopping malls? Or in several shopping malls at the same time?

On 9/11/01 we said "Never Forget" and "Never Again". We vowed to capture the ones responsible. What we didn't realize is that we were about to lose to the terrorists. Only now is it clear that we have lost our Liberties and our Freedoms in the name of Security. Every time another one of these incidents occurs, throwing another American city into panic, the terrorists laugh. They don't even have to do anything any more. We are now terrorizing ourselves.

Just like the Navy Yard shooter, the media immediately dropped the story about the Washington shooting as soon as they realized it didn't meet their criteria for more gun control. Congress stood and applauded the "brave" actions of the Capital Police, even praising the injured officer... the one that destroyed his patrol car and injured himself by racing down a Washington street and smashing directly into one of the many security barriers that are supposedly there to keep us safe.

The only problem with this Government Shutdown is that it doesn't go far enough. The entire Government should be completely shutdown, then slowly and carefully rebuilt, strictly as the Constitution lays it out. It is baby steps by the Liberals and Progressives that got us into this mess and it is baby steps rebuilding it that could get us out.
