Hmmmmmmm, is this from the swine flu? Is the water supply infected?
Can't wait for next weekend!

Patrick is a very odd zombie. I don't think I've seen such color in the eyes of any other zombie. A new breed?

The one walker at the fence that Rick kept looking at had the strange eyes. I believe the pig dying is related too.

I think you're right on the pigs. We had the dead pig in the woods and the one in the prison.

not sure that it is specifically the pig, but any animals. Darryl brought back a deer. Patrick was all giddy over it. Rick was whining about walkers getting to animals in their snares before they could get them. They had a deer in the snare that was all eaten up.
there is definitely a disease running around in addition to zombiism. Not sure what exactly yet. I don't feel good about the shower water after patrick coughed into it. very very bad....

From the previews it looks as if the group is going to abandon the prison. Perhaps this new possible outbreak is the reason why. So what do you guys think the chances are that Michonne is going to find the governor and have an "epic" showdown?

Michonne is definitely hunting the Gov!
Here's another good question, did Rick knife spike Clara (aka Eddie's head caretaker) so she didn't turn ala the Gov? We know he didn't spike Eddie's head before he left.

Whats the deal with Rick finding the 1911 buried in the Garden?

Ooopppss, Had to switch the channel when the girl shoved the rebar thru the zombies head at the fence. The Techs are really getting graphic in the head shots visiability...I hope we never have to resort to this in real life ?? It is a good awakening..

I thought about that one too. I think it was a failed attempt to show that Rick had turned into a peacenik hippie between seasons 3 and 4. Remember Herschel had to beg Rick to take his gun with him when he ventured outside the fence.

I missed that part. Was it the first scene before the title played?
I figured the 1911 was a battlefield drop from the Governor's attack last season. It looked to be in too good condition to have been buried there too long.

I think that's as good a guess as any.
Time to look through Tivo'ed episodes from last season and see if anyone in particular was carrying it? I'm never sure what's a future plot revelation and what's a throwaway visual in that show. I guess that's one of the aspects of the show's writing that makes it so worth watching.

I dontknow it was buried pretty deep to be from last years attack ,although I do agree it seemed to be in good condition

I would say the zombie infecting has mutated to animals and that mutation has a different effect on humans. I wouldn't be surprised to see a scene like in resident evil.
