That is a cool looking M1. However calling it USMC Match is a bit of a stretch. I doubt you'd find anything like it in a USMC arms room.

That "USMC Match" is a Roland Beaver rifle. Roland has quite a following, because he is a Marine, I guess that makes it accurate to call it a USMC anything he wants?

Nah... If it's his "Signature" rifle it should say something like "Beaver Blaster" or something similar. Maybe he could even do something like "USMC Blaster". To put "USMC Match" on it implies it to be something it is not.

I didn't even know sage made a chassis for Garands. How is that scope mounted on the beaver blaster? (I just like saying that...beaver blaster)

It appears the beaver blaster has the tube mounted deeply into the shaft.

Tim - Did you man to say there is a shortened tube installed in the Beaver chassis? If it had a full length tube maybe it could be a "Beaver Match"?

I believe the rifle in question uses a 2 piece tube known as a "split beaver".

Sheesh, some call it a Gas cylinder. Tube on the top split by metal with a longer tube on the bottom. Glad I could help :)

Of course, you meant the gas tube...I just have not seen one that was not solid piece...I just won an Fleabay bid and it is supposedly usgi, Marked Pb in small letters...trying to decide next action on it..I guess it was worth $50.00 bucks??Opinion?
