I got to attend a local screening of the movie Lone Survivor. It's the story of Marcus Luttrell and the ill-fated 2005 mission in Afghanistan.
If you are looking for Band of Brothers, well this isn't it. The first 30 minutes will remind you of Friday Night Lights. Then, the shite hits the fan.
You will spend the next hour on the edge of your seat.
Based on the name, the movie ends the way you would expect. At the end of the screening, many people stood and clapped.
