How much knowledge have you passed on?

This thread was started by me after I thought a bit about my reply to the "Hand Surgery" thread.



So here I am, trying to teach my children (9/12) about firearm safety and sight picture when it occurs to me that I should ask a group of Riflemen this question...


Are any of you passing on your knowledge to a younger generation? And if so, are they absorbing the technical bits to the point that a younger generation could replicate your work?



EDIT: What I mean is how many Armorers do we have on the horizon, not Riflemen... sorry.

I try to show my daughters(7 and 10) how to build and barrel an M1,but they don't care.I'll keep trying,but they do love shooting.

I've passed only my shooting skills on, as pathetic as they are.
