1911 Slides at Sarco

If any of you are considering building your own 1911 now is a good time. Sarco is selling slides from the old Para Ordinance at a reasonable price. I bought a GI Expert complete slide in stainless steel for $154 which includes sights, firing pin/spring/stop. They have part kits for $139 which includes everything except for slide/frame. Pickup a stainless steel frame from Foster which is the parent company to Caspian, Foster sells off their seconds. Their seconds have a visual problem not a machine/cast/forged problem and are guaranteed. Foster offers discount pricing for LE, Military and FFL's.
