Need help with my wood.

This stock just does not seem right to me. It came on a RG I bought at the NS a few years ago. It feels fat and bulky in the grip area. Pics:

In the last pic you can see the serif P is nearly upside down with the bottom part of the P pointing to about 11:00. There are no other cartouches. When I originally bought the rifle I convinced myself that there was a boxed something on the left side, now I'm pretty sure there is nothing there anymore.

Anyone have any clues?

I would say it is an SA stock, of what sort I have no idea.

Yeah I figured, it just feels much fatter than the other SA stocks I've seen
