This is a test. If you say all of these are equal in their own way you are an open minded modern intellectual. If you choose the Pieta you're an ignorant racist.

Eg. #1-Inca art late 15th Century

Eg. #2-This is cheating a little as this work of art is much newer-African from the late 19th. Century.

Eg. #3-European from the late 1400's

Now, are any of these works of art "better" than the others or are they all beautiful in their own way?

I like number 3, then number 1, and my kid (at age 3) could have made number 2.

RACIST!!! OH, and by the way #2 uses #2 as the medium. Yes, it is sculpted out of dung.

#2? Cripes. Thought it was a Chia Pet.

If #2 is made of #2 it seems that it would make a nice Chia Pet.

The Pieta is quite impressive in person... too bad it sits behind glass because some fool needed a part to take home. Photography is difficult.

Interesting question. If you put a lot of thought into the means and messages it can get complicated. #1( Heathens) is rough but it is anatomically correct. They look like fertility gods and a good population was important to survival. #2(Savages) probably done by a starving grasslands native who was wondering where all the Cape Buffalo went. (hint: European hunters). #3(Christians) Was likely commissioned by the Vatican. Cost was no object. The artist and his assistants well fed and paid. And rule #1, if the church is behind it you best not screw up or else.

3, 1 & 2 in that order. But I believe that preference depends on your demographic.

And this one was done around the 1st century AD. So I'm going for cultural superiority with this one.
