markings on Garand help with info

im thinking of buying this Garand but will appreciate some input from you, all you can tell me about this piece.

and look closely to the picture of the entire rifle there is stanped 680245 into the side just below the sight

Looks to be in pretty nice shape, tearing it down would help,,looking at op rod and trigger group..Number on side of stock????Could have bben on another reciever with that number??Military stock with proof on grip, winchester trigger guard? Whats the price??

The "P" without a circle and the "RA" (Raritan Arsenal) means it went through a rebuild. Receiver date is from November of 1942.

Are you saying a garand that would cost around $700.00 in the USA would cost $2000.00 US dollars in Denmark ?

yes a mixed ww2 garand costs between 18-2200$ and dont get me started on the ammo prices 1,25-2$ pr round
gasoline costs 8.5$ a gallon and diesel fuel just a little less.
