Are M1 Grease pots oil tight?

If I cleaned one or two out to put CLP or Bore Cleaner in them will the leak?

In my limited experience, yes. The plastic ones I've tried don't have a very good seal, even with plain oil. So even lower viscosity liquids like CLP would leak even faster.
