Tim, here is a print screen of an error message I got when I tried to post earlier.

It says "The following errors occurred with your submission"
"This post is a duplicate of a post that you have posted in the last five minutes."

You can show this to your computer guy.

If anybody else gets a double post error, or a double post, from right now forward into the future, please let me know here and under what circumstances it happened.

Example;

I had a double post today at 5pm. I posted on a thread titled "xyz" and nothing happened so I hit the post button again and then a double post showed up.

Seems like every other post I make becomes a double. I swear I am only hitting the post button once! :)

Very very odd, neither me nor my Vbulletin support guy can replicate this error. What operating system and what browser are you using cuppednlocked?

I've been getting the same message as Cuppednlocked. Haven't left the local area.

Test Post, to get error.

This is what I got when posting this. I also got an error while attaching my file. I wonder if the webserver recently had PHP or any other libraries upgraded. The server admin should really set: display_errors = Off in php.ini so we don't see these. :D

My Browser is Firefox 28.

That would be incorrect, error reporting is enabled by default for the sole purpose of displaying the errors in your code, they should be fixed, not masked.

As this virtual host account on said server which is owned by godaddy & doesnt have a server admin, i changed it thru the hosting panel for you Tim, the site is now using php 5.4.xx, versus 5.2.xx

As an IT guy I find this funny... all the "techies" of the world dumped IE for FireFox because IE was too bloated. I'm convinced that the vast majority of computer users, even IT peeps, have no idea what they are talking about and follow new ideas and products around like wolves chasing a hot dog just in an attempt to be cool. Kinda like hipsters.

Not taking a stab at ya Jimbo... I have no idea about your level of IT expertise.

I use simple ole Safari. It might not be fancy but it always works, it's an apple thing.

I ditched IE for firefox because of it's bloat and total lack of security, then I ditched firefox for chrome because it got just as bloated.

Safari on Apple? Well I don't swing that way.. :)

:)

Palemoon has been around for quite a while and seems to be pretty stable.

And, Mr. Shufflin owns an apple? $Avomit$

These forum issues are most likely his fault then. Way to go Mr. Shufflin... you broke the internet. I have no IT experience above hobbyist level.
