op rod spring

May I please get the proper spring insertion direction for the op rod spring. Small wound end first? Or does that end get squeezed on the follower rod? Thanks up front guys! ZB.

Small end goes on follower rod. You can kinda screw it onto and off the follower rod.

Thanks, I was watching a utube video and the fellow had said to put the small end in first. Looked like the follower rod was loose in the spring.I will get this thing together yet.:p
