So When I first got into firearms I got an m1a, I knew nothing about guns. I am quite taken by it and over the years have shot it a number of times. over the years. However, I had bought new parts for it and such and made it pretty nice looking. But nothing really compares to the beauty of a Magazine fed Garand.

Would it be still to to want to trade an m14 for a mag fed garand? What is more accurate?

It really depends onwhat you want
Persoanlly I would not trade a all USGI M1A for a Mag fed Garand . Just my opinion

Ah. Well then it is settled. I should just get a mag fed garand in addition. But mini-g or standard? What accuracy drop are we talking with the mini-g comparatively? and what of to an M1a? mini-g fireball a real hoot?

Get the mini-g, It's super handy in the shorter barrel, plus they look great. I think a full size Garand looks a bit odd mag fed. Accuracy will be on par with a full length garand. Sight radius matters more than the actual barrel length, if you use irons there are narrower front sight posts you can use to compensate for the shorter radius.

Velocity will drop a little bit in the Mini-G but not so much in 308.

I think your GTG out to normal combat ranges.
