This is my answer to a NY legal AK. I hate the saiga sporter AK.
A SKS-M a chinese factory version of a SKS that takes AK mags.
I added the rail, eotech, and refinished the orange stock.. Chestnut ridge doesn't get too dark on chinese chu wood.
Oh well.... She ain't the prettiest thing on the block but she'll pack a good punch at the sort ranges I intend to use her for....
