Well boys its official, I'm now a Certified Refuse Technician :) as I passed my CDL test this morning. Never thought this is something I would be doing, life is kinda funny how things sometimes turn out

Congratulations, On your CDl.. I had noted from your postings , that you needed a permanent position, and insurance coverage..

Some guys will do almost anything to get first picks in the truck. Lunch, collectables. Almost empty wine bottles and that last swallow of beer.

Reminds me of our other Certified Refuse Technician-Cal30M1. Haven't heard from him for a long time.

Reminds me of our other Certified Refuse Technician-Cal30M1. Haven't heard from him for a long time.

Here, they use a giant lift truck, and it picks up our wheeled carts..Driver doesn't leave the cab, unless dome dolt, puts stuff beside the cart..usually after a holiday, they have a helper ride to assist in rear loading extra garbage..So its a fairly clean job, and here the drivers are Unionized, we just got over a strike for better insurance...They had the supervisors come a round driving then...Og.
