This is at a local store. Is that a decent price for a Tanker?

I would stay away from that one. Missing the rear sight, crack wood, cheek pad on wrong. That sets of red flags for me, what else is wrong with it. Then I see the price at $899. The only way I would own that was if they gave it to me for free. Just not worth it in my opinion.

gas cylinder assembly - $100
trigger group - $80
internals - $100
birch stock - $100
bolt - $75
stock metal - $60
receiver - ?
I see a little over $500 (retail) not including the oprod (which is cut and probably not bent right at all), the barrel (which looks like the muzzle is just cut off square and never crowned), and the receiver (of which there are, mysteriously, no pics).
barrel value is likely close to zero
receiver value could range from $0 to about $300 IF it is USGI and IF it isn't welded
oprod is unknown but could cost as much to rebend, repiston, and retab than it is worth

Run Forrest run...Barrel is a mystery and is import stamped at the op rod? Not worth heart ache.
