Pardon my ignorance, but that can't be repaired to make a useable receiver?

Even if you weld the leg back on, there is still a matter of the poorly milled welds at collar and op rod track. Its a paperweight. Even if you have the equipment to make it a working receiver, you're going to spend $110 and hours and hours of you time and in the end will have a receiver that no one would ever give you money for

If I had spare money and a welder I'd buy it just for something to do.

I did not notice it was a welded receiver to begin with. My friend works in a machine shop and I figured it would be a good project for someone like that. Like I said I have no interest as I am slowly bleeding out my entire collection. I have a few IHCs left , funny thing is I never cared much for them , I leaned towards the HRAs. My first rack grade IHC from cmp 400.00 was a gap letter in pretty nice condition.
Thanks for the heads up Sean I did tell my friend so I better let him know what you said. Tom

But it's an IHC paperweight...

That old drill rifle part looks like it was a victim, of the Cresent wrench removal method.I was always leery of putting a lot of pressure on the ears to remove the barrel..If it is a proper cut block it will not force one of the ears off, but maybe it was cracked, still had been thru a lot in its life..Og.

Thank you Stuart! The only thing I see as a problem is the oprod relief area. I can't tell from the photo if there's enough metal there to work with and make right. If that area is okay, and the piece that is broken away from the follower pin bib is available, looks like a good candidate for a resurrection.
