I did some research online about people having trouble using this tool with a t handle. Site recommended chucking it up in a drill with plenty of oil on barrel and cutter. I must say I did two barrels and both turned out great the 44 was over a 2 and ended up less than 1.5. The 51 was a 1.5 so only improved slightly but it got rid of the dings in the crown, I got both of them back from Tim for a repark and they look like new. So don't be affraid to use your drill, oil it all up and go slow with steady level pressure and it does great. The inner bevel on my 44 was damaged and almost oval and it looks like new now. If you picked it up you'd swear I just had a new barrel engraved with the old numbers. Just my two cents and expecting change :D
