I never catch Walleye,but today I cleaned up.I ended up releasing a bunch,and took home my limit...all on a jig and grub body!

They are excellent!I cooked up a small batch of fillets that night and it was just as expected,light and flaky.

I'll give ya a tip Hump. If you bleed those critters before you clean them the fillets will come out snow white. They taste better and you also dont have any blood/mess when cleaning.You can cut them then throw on a stringer to bleed if not in a boat with alivewell. I use a heavy pair of sizzors but a good sharp knife will also work
