Do any of you have a GoPro camera? I have been considering buying one of these to take hunting, fishing, and to film my kid. Do any of you have on? Do you use it? Do you like it? Which model, if any, should I get? What accessories are a "must have"?

Thanks in advance.

A guy at work has one, he uses it for filming while he is snowmobiling. I helped him get some of the movies off and burn DVDs. They seem like nice high quality pieces that take good video. As far as what models / Accessories, I can't speak to that.

The diving videos I've posted here are shot with a Hero 3+.

Buy at least the 3+ version. I have the "Black" model. It comes with the most mounting accessories.

If you plan to use the wifi/GoPro app get a spare battery and car charger. Use one and charge the other. Wifi kills the battery. I shoot in 1080 wide vs super wide. It cuts down on the vignetting.

The problem with the GoPro is lack of zoom. Depending on what you are hunting the best footage comes from the camera focused on you rather than the quarry.

Another accessory that I feel is "must have" is the LCD backpack. We do a lot of hand held shooting with ours and the backpack is essential for getting the video framed right.

I have one. Love it. I bought the Hero3+ Silver Edition. I used it for driving videos and shooting videos mostly. My wife likes it for bird watching stuff

Where is the re-pour? Isn't the first followed closely by the second?

Been to The Hop Yard yet? One of the owners (serving the bar) is a HP shooter/coach for the USMC Jr League.
