Unmarked Bolt

I am considering buying a Garand bolt that has no markings on it. I could strip out the parts for spares but am wondering why it has no i.d. on it. Fluke? Safe to use? Or just a misfit collectable?

Unless it is dirt cheap I would pass. There is a glut of good Garand bolts around and are selling cheaper than ever.

All USGI bolts should be stamped. I wouldn't waste the money on an unknown bolt.

depending on price id buy it. SUS made unmarked o rods so perhaps this was also made by another sub contractor.
