Scored this oprod, not what do I do?

I got this rod on Gunbroker for $100 (Plus shipping). I wasn't paying much attention to it on the auction, I just wanted a nice serviceable rod to send to Tim for a Mini-G conversion. What I got when I opened it today was an Uncut D35382 -9 SA oprod. (Spring included).

You guys know a lot more about the collect-ability of Garand parts than I, I think this is a arsenal retip/repark? Am I correct?

Is this thing collectible? What's it worth? Now I'm wondering if I should send it to Tim to have him chop it, or sell / trade it for another rod for my purposes, maybe making a few bucks on the process...

Too bad it's a Flat, if it was curved I'd offer you $200 for it, based on what I can see in the photos.

I personally wouldn't chop it.There are tons of modified out there,and far fewer that are not modified,so I'd recommend selling it and buying a modified,or rebuild era rod.

Am I correct that when you see a wrapped tip like that and a repark, that is an arsenal rebuild?
