Front sight problem....

Hello All:
I installed a globe front sight on my M1 that has several inserts that can be put in...
Problem... The insert seems to want to shift side to side on occaision under recoil... Not good fer accuracy.
Anyone have an idea how to correct this problem?

Put a drop of clear nail polish on the ears of the insert. To remove /change the insert, acetone will dissolve the nail polish.
