View Full Version : Making a Rifle a Paratrooper?

Have you had any success taking a full length rifle, other than the Garand platform, and reducing it to paratrooper length? Maybe an SKS or an FAL? I'm not talking about SBR stuff, just tanker/Mini-G short.

I reread your post so forget what I wrote below.
Are you thinking of the BM-59 Para?
BM-59 Mark III: or Ital TA (also known as the Truppe Alpine), was a variant with a pistol grip and a metallic folding buttstock, that was intended for mountain troops. The BM59 Para was similar to BM59 Ital TA, but was intended for paratroopers. It was equipped with a shorter barrel and flash-hider

I tried once to make a SKS paratrooper.I could not get the front sight housing off the barrel.
I tried a torch,heated cherry red, no affect.
That was awhile back. I did buy a few after that.:)
