Last Saturday evening our church held its annual sportsman's banquet.
One of the member's is an excellent chef and loves to cook game food.
We had Pheasant Pot Pie and Venison Chili, both of which were very very good
and we had fresh grilled catfish which was fantastic.
After dinner they had the usual games to try to win prizes.
I won a Chiappa Little Badger which is a 22 Magnum Survival Rifle
It fold up and fits in a backpack. It came with a "can" that screws on the barrel
and a cleaning kit which screws in behind the trigger guard to act as a hand grip if needed.
I took it out this morning to sight it in and I was happy with the results
I had the target out about 25-30 yards and the first couple of shots hit off the top
of the paper. I aimed about 6 inches lower and got the first 3 shots low and to the left.
The 4th went to the right of the X ring and the 5th hit the X. I decided to quit while
I was ahead. Besides it was cold and windy today. It's a nice little rifle.
