Stripers Anyone?

I went with some life-long friends on a bit of a fishing trip the last few days. I haven't caught so many fish in one day in a long time! We fished a few trout steams in NC and Tennessee. We caught some rainbows and brookies on day one and two. Day three we hired a guide to fish the Tennessee river for stripers. Here are some pics from the striper fishing.. it was raining like hell in the AM.

No eating the paddlefish. I guess there is only a 30 day season on them and it was out at the time. I doubt they'd eat it anyway.

A striper fillet cooked on the grill with a little butter and lemon juice.......dang, I'm drolling on my key pad and its starting to short out! Being born 12 miles from Chapel Hill (Hillsborough) I'm also liking the Tarheels "T" shirt. Oops, Raleigh is NC State! We won't discuss that fake Princeton in Durham built with tobacco money formerly known as Trinity College.

Nice bass. new york really sucks but we do have tons of huge stripers. I can't believe I just found something good to say about this place.

I miss catching Stripers,but these last 2 weeks I've caught Walleye,Smallmouth Bass,Channel Cats,Blue Cats,and Northern Pike.Great haul my friend!Our paddlefishing season opens May 1st btw.
