Konus Spotting Scope

UPDATE-- I purchased a Konuspot 80 today, brand new in the box for $170, shipping included.


I've come to the realization that I need a decent spotting scope. Unfortunately funds are not unlimited. I'm looking at the Konus 15-45X65 zoom with angled eye piece as a possibility. It's in the price range I can mostly afford. Any one have any feed back on this scope, or something comparable? I like the fact that the body can rotate on the attachment ring, something that the Celestron doesn't do. I'll be using it mostly at 100 and 200 yards.

Jon,
FWIW, I use a Konus 20-60X / 80 on a Ray Vin stand. The scope works fine for me and the stand is worth the price if you can swing it, VERY solid and well made.

I've been using the Konus 80 for a few years. Love it.
