WTB or looking for beat up Garand receiver.

Have a crazy idea that requires a Garand receiver.
Looking for a beat up one that is serviceable.
Any one willing to sell or who knows a place to find one "cheap" please let me know.

Sounds like a CMP grade C receiver is the ticket. They don't seem to have them mailorder any more, but the CMP stores might have some???

You can probably post a wanted ad on the CMP forums and get one.

If a commercial cast one will work for you Numrich was selling some for like $180 a while back on gunbroker, But they are hit or miss though.
