I don' know exactly what we're celebrating. The demise of our American way of life and the destruction of the basic principles that this country was founded on? Between the beer and the hot dogs we should slip in a little Prayer for Divine intervention. We need it.

I had a great 4th! My Son Nick and his family were here for the week. Had a party, Sean even came over, all the neighbors got here around 9pm and we had fireworks and drinks. Talked politics, family, and guns. Sean is the best babysitter money can buy!

Well, I made it thru the holiday with-out burning any gunpwder or fireworks...Including the Mosin's.....There a lot of strange explosions down in the valley behind us..Either a homemade cannon or someone was mixing up some homegrown stuff with Pvc pipe and mix...just had a very deep sound..
