My little buddy, Liam, is in the hospital. He's not doing very well. He's been diagnosed with pancreatitis and is in the beginning stages of renal failure. I've had him since he was 10 weeks old and he's 9 now and I'm rather attached to him. Please keep him in your prayers.
Thanks.
Jon

I had to put one of my babies down. He was about the same age. My prayers for him. They are better than people.

Punch, why you gotta hate? I'm just trying to make our friend Jon feel better and nothing makes anyone feel better than a new pup!

I'm sure eventually I'll get a new pup but it's going to be awhile.

All dogs go to heaven. I believe that you will get to see him again someday. While you may be feeling tremendous sadness over his passing, think about how much joy he brought to your life in the short time he was with you. You were blessed to have him as a friend. There is no better friend than your dog.

Makes me want to take that trip over the rainbow bridge soon. I'm definitely looking forward to it, but not too soon.

I am sorry to hear about your loss, Jon. Dogs can be such good friends and we get so attached to them.

I had to have my rescue dog put down 2 1/2 years ago. I'd had her for 5 years, but never was sure exactly how old she was. It was so hard to make that last trip with her. I waited til last July to start looking again and found another rescue dog that his owners couldn't keep. He was all over me the first time I met him. He is almost 18 months old now and wasn't suppose to get too big, but he's up to 71 lbs. Never wants to leave my side and is always so happy when I come home. I think he was meant to be mine and maybe one will find you again too.
