So I've got this Italian conversion rod here, one of the shortened ones they did for their 308 conversions. What is involved in trying to remove the tip and use one of Standard Parts long tips. I'm thinking about using this for a build, Oprods have gotten crazy expensive... Even Numrich has gone off the deepend asking $189 for one....

Is the tip all the needs to be done? The bends don't need to be changed do they?

Thanks!

Justin

I paid $80 for a shorty from Sarco (http://forum.shuffsparkerizing.com/showthread.php?6041-Called-Sarco-Today), and have parts for sale. (http://forum.shuffsparkerizing.com/showthread.php?6045-WTS-M1-Garand-Parts) I know I'm a bit high on pricing, but would you like to trade your shorty + cash?
