Hey Punch, was it you asked me about my Heart scans? I was in Atrial Fibrilation, but now this new meds program is pretty strong..I had the new procedure, Cardioversion, they bedded me down and shocked and stopped my heart..then they shocked it back to start it up again..Well it worked and ran okay in Rythem, but by the time I was settled in and about over it, 2 1/2 days, it jumped out of rythym again...Fluttering, so Now I am waiting my turn to see another cardiologist, speciallizing in the electric field of the heart... Then he will do another type of shock treatment....Anyway, i still been reading here and over on the Mosin forum, just have not had much to write or say..Grin, OG.

I don't like you being used as a experimental pin cushion Guard. You could die and planned parenthood will sell you off by the piece. Heck, they might not wait for you to die.

Dont sign up to be an organ donor on your Drivers license at your State DMV. Im very serious, not talking outta my ass here. Studies have shown that those who are documented organ donors, doctors dont try as hard in hospital situations to save you, where you are really ill (potentially lethal illness or injury). I used to be an organ donor in my young years, in my late teens such as high school and thru my twenties. But when I took a health class in the University I attended, some nurse gave a lecture on the subject and I could not believe it.

Next time I renewed my drivers license, I changed my organ donation thing to "NO." As in "HELL NO." My organs are going with me to my grave.

Its awful it has to be that way, IMO.

Old Guard....sounds like you are headed for a heart "Ablation" procedure. I know three people that went through the various treatments and then fixed the problem with Ablation. You have too much untimed electrical signals coming from your SA nodes (Sino-Atrial). Your old wiring harness has a short in other words. The procedure is usually successful......usually! All the best.

True enough, I called it ablashion, which ever it is , they enter the vein at the groin and go up to the heart and do something with a lazer..Then Shock again. This treatment was offered right away..I declined thinking the shock treatment might work...less invasive..So now this next trick has about the same sucess rate, 15% or so to not take..My co-worker is ten years younger and he has had two Abations..But I am going to have to try One of them, just as soon as it is my turn at surgeon...I still belive that that day two months ago, working hard in garden and yard..brought this problem to light... Tim, I agree, practicing medicine or pill pushing is making the medical world run..I am On the new Blood thinner, Eliquis, Latest and supposed to be great in that constant blood testing is not needed.Just watch TV , you will see their ads, only I don't feel well enough to JOG, like the ads...I do know it makes my blood very dark, almost black, and very easy to bruise..Suddenly all my joints are very touchy too, so , I am A research mouse now too...Meanwhile, retirement on hold,,,, I am working for insurance here and death benefits if none of this works well....Life goes on..Later..OG.

Hi Toolman, I happen to know my parts are not a old as yours..But anything over 60 seems to be getting tricky...I finally got lucky yesterday and had a little fun with the wifie...really takes luck now with these pills, no Viagra allowed at all...SO..

My Dad had A-fib. His ablation was done at the same time as a quad bypass. He was on the pump for a long time. It took him a while to return to normal. Look up "pump head" related to bypass machines. Scary stuff when they couldn't get the sutures to hold.

He currently has a pacemaker to help regulate his HR/BP. He has periods of extremely low HR/BP and isn't fully back to normal. I hope you do not go through what he has.

I'm 60. Does that mean I'm on borrowed time already? I'm already on Warfarin for DVT's.
