Mini G 35 Whelen?

I'm sure this has been asked or covered in another thread.

Can the drop down gas tube from the BM be used to convert a Garand to a Mini in 35 Whelen?

Thoughts on this...? I'm suck between keeping the 30-06 or going to the 35?

It can. I'm now trying to source a new .35 provider, my guy passed away a few months ago.
