Yeah, have to agree. The Left has learned pretty well that's it can't eliminate 2nd Amendment rights in one action. Obama is simply moving the ball down the field and setting up things for the next play. In the future voter demographics look to be favoring the Dems so it will take some more EO's and Supreme Court appointments and years to get what they want. And let's face it, it's not only the Dems.....I'm sure there are a lot of RINO's that would have no problem on softening Constitutional barriers to their agendas.

That's always been the tactic. Move left, let everyone believe it's the new "norm" then move again. Just compare 1800's to 1900's to 2000's... that is until they lefties finish rewriting the textbooks.

It is guns that stop criminals, thugs, gangsters (democrats). If we had no guns, only those who were the strongest physically would win the day. The gun is the great equalizer. A woman is no match for a fit man, especially a man with a knife (if there's no guns). Even a mere average man is no match for a fit man with a knife. With the gun, the common person can defend themselves against an evil strong man even if that evil strong man has a gun. That same common person can also defend themselves against tyranny imposed by gangsters (democrats) or any other political party run amuck. Without the gun, the strong and evil beats and dominates the righteous.

As long as those that pay NO net federal taxes are allowed to vote, we will continue to have these problems. Without the vote of those that want free stuff, there would be no oboombya. This was the first erosion of the founders wishes. They wanted skin in the game and we no longer have that. When any moron can vote, we get morons in office.

I can't remember a time in the past half century when there weren't morons in public office. And there have been a large number of moronic, self-interested voters who put them there. The only thing that has changed is what shiny things get waved in front of the voters to get their attention.

But the true genius behind the constitution that defines our form of government is that it sets up a balance of power among multiple morons and self-interests so that none can truly dominate. Competition good, monopoly bad.

All of the above reasons combined with very few current politcians having served in the military.....years / generations of children "taught" in public schools that guns are evil, folks moving to the big city knowing next to nothing about hunting except what pita tells them about the poor animals being murdered by bubba and on and on it goes. Sad really.
