He is basing his price from what sells on the cmp auction site..... which is overpriced.
Also, he just joined the cmp forum in December 2015 and 2 of his 3 posts are for selling high priced items.
I may be wrong about the guy, but it makes me suspicious.

I have seen this guy post on our local firearms for sale site, but I can't seem to find him now and that Garand isn't listed.

It looked like a nice rifle with some nice accessories, $10K+ no thanks...
