Wow, that is a clean looking piece. I want one bad.
My commercial made copy just isn't in the same league. Sigh...

Thanks guys.....I'm VERY pleased....GB pics were less than flattering...seller swore it was original, offered a 3 day return.....turns out he threw in a George Lawrence "14D" flap holster too.......Pretty famous name, evidently, from my quick Google search.....holster is mint.....

A really nice 1911A1 Jeff. I will not ask the cost as it was a GB purchase and the prices vary from good to out of sight! A real beauty. No commercial compares to those old warriors with me. and I have a few commercial and self built 1911s.

Ya know ya told me if I need any tools for working on my (hopefully soon to be) new house, you were just a little south of me? Well there might be some rats in that old cellar. I reckon the "ole worn out 45" would just about do the trick!
I'll PM ya my mailing addy, THANKS BRUTE! You're a friend indeed!

ROTFLMAO "YEAH RIGHT!"

I'm green with envy brother! $clapper$ VERY NICE WEAPON! Congrats!
Someday, but I'm afraid my gun money will be spent at "Lowes or Home Depot" for a while! Thomas

Thanks for the kind word, guys....I'm really pleased with this one too.

Blockhead pointed the CMP one out to me, TOM. Too bad the slide doesn't match the frame(ser #-wise) crummy bore doesn't help, either, but you could swap that....
Did seem interesting to me, since it was only made 1100 before mine.....Oddly, enough, there is a guy on 1911 Forum that has one 21 away from mine.....Says "he's not quite ready to sell, just yet.........)
